Who are we?

•  Woodhull Communications Inc. is the parent company of Woodhull Telephone Company and Diverse Communications Inc.
• Woodhull Telephone Company was established in 1950 an ILEC for Woodhull and surrounding rural areas.
• Diverse Communications was established in 1994 as a cable tv company and in 2000 a CLEC for Alpha and surrounding areas.
• Woodhull Telephone Company and Diverse Communications Inc. both have upgraded their networks completely to fiber to the home (FTTH).  WTC stared building fiber in 2010 finishing in 2011 and Diverse started rebuilding their network in 2016 finishing in 2021. Diverse then partnered with Henry County in 2021 to bring fiber to the home to Lynn Center. Diverse has since expanded to Andover and New Windsor providing FTTH to homes and businesses. 
• Diverse is looking to move into new communities that are either unserved or underserved to bring gigabit capable fiber to the home network. 

 What are we looking at with Fyre Lake?

•  We would be investing approximately $1.2 million to bring our fiber to the home network to the approximately 300 homes within Fyre Lake.
  
• Provide and exceptional service to the residents of Fyre Lake at an affordable price to help them to be able to work from home, take online classes, help their business succeed, and enjoy their streaming entertainment choices in the digital world that we find ourselves living in now and into the future with our 100% fiber to the home network. 
• We will not be offering land line phone service in Fyre Lake so you can keep your existing phone service if you need it and use our fiber internet service, or you can drop your phone line and take our fiber internet service.
